Do I need an account to use RandomTask?
No. You can use the dice and manage your tasks entirely in 'Free Account.' In this mode, your data lives only on your device’s local storage. We don't see it, and we don't want it. You only create an account if you want to sync your progress across devices or unlock the Heatmap.
What data do you actually collect?
If you choose to create an account, we only store what’s necessary to make the app work for you:
• The Basics: Your name and email (so you can log in).
• Your Tasks: To sync them between your phone and laptop.
• Your Wins: Your completion history so we can build your Productivity Heatmap.
Do you sell my data?
Never. We aren't in the business of selling your focus to advertisers. We’re building a tool to help you get things done, not a product to track your behavior. Our revenue comes from our $39 Lifetime Premium supporters, not from data brokers.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. With one click in your settings, you can wipe your cloud data. Since we value 'low-friction,' we make leaving just as easy as joining.
